Heating elements are used to maintain temperature and reduce humidity in control panels, automation cabinets, ATMs, payment terminals, and other electronic devices. Previously, incandescent lamps were used for these purposes – however, it is clear that this method does not meet the modern strict requirements for electrical devices and electronics. Today, almost all manufacturers switch to PTC heating elements, which not only provide heating but also guarantee safety and durability in operation.

Due to the high demands placed on cabinet heaters, Plastim has exercised great care in selecting component suppliers. For example, the supplier of the PTC heaters is the same as Schneider Electric, and the terminal block for the electrical connection of all components is custom-made by the Italian company KORNER. The plastic from which this block is made has a very important property: when heated, it not only retains its shape and does not deform but also emits no odors and thus releases no harmful carcinogenic substances into the atmosphere. We agree that this approach in supplier selection positively distinguishes high-quality Plastim heaters from cheap Chinese counterparts.
