The protection of personal data is very important to us. The purpose of this document is to inform you about all information concerning the processing of your personal data when you use the online shop as part of the online business of use pelek-de.com. 1. Basic information
Your personal data is collected through the online shop pelek-de.com; and/or collected directly by us. In both cases, we may act as the data controller. We process the following personal data about you:
— First and last name, contact details (in particular, email, telephone number), address;

2. For what purpose do we process personal data and what is the reason for the processing
2.1 Performance of the contractual relationship and related legal obligations. The reason for processing personal data is the performance of the purchase contract and the related obligations (delivery of the goods, accounting, processing complaints, or if you exercise your statutory right of return within the applicable period). We will process your first and last name, contact details (residential address and delivery address, email and telephone number), as well as any additional billing data where applicable. Personal data will be processed for the duration of the contractual relationship and subsequently for 4 years after its termination (we have an interest here in retaining certain personal data related to the purchase contract to protect our interests). We are legally required to retain accounting and tax records. The retention period for this data may be up to 10 years after the end of the tax period in which the transaction took place. If necessary to ensure delivery and payment, the personal data we collect will be disclosed to the contracted transport company or the designated credit institution.
2.2 Card payment. When you provide us with your credit card details, we do not have access to the complete data. We only know that you are paying by card, and the card details are processed by the recipients of this data, who process the payment on our behalf.
2.3 Order processing. To process your order, we also work with other service providers (transport providers and others) who assist us in fulfilling the contracts concluded. We disclose your data to these partners only to fulfill the obligations arising from the purchase contract.
2.4 Communication with customer service, complaints or other inquiries. If you have contacted us, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent to handle your inquiry or complaint. We may process the following personal data about you: first name, last name, telephone number, email address, order details. Closed inquiries and complaints handled by customer service are deleted regularly, but no later than 4 years after the inquiry or complaint has been handled.
2.5 Reviews. Our customers' reviews are important to us. We will publish reviews if you give us your consent to do so (you submit a review for the relevant goods or service). We may process the following personal data about you: first name, last name, email address, order details. With your express consent, we will also process photos and personal data included in the review text. Reviews will be published until you withdraw your consent, but no later than 5 years.
2.6 Customer reviews. You can share your experience with your purchase and rate individual goods. We may use other processors to evaluate your feedback on the individual goods purchased.
2.7 Legal obligations. We may disclose personal data to third parties, apart from the processors listed below, if required by law or in response to legal requests from authorities or at the request of a court in legal proceedings.
2.8 Age restriction. In the case of goods subject to an age restriction, we verify that you have reached the required minimum age in accordance with applicable legal regulations. For this purpose, we use an identification service that enables us to verify your age.
2.9 Digital products. If an update is required for goods with digital elements or digital products, we process the data you provided when placing your order.

4. Processors
Your personal data may be disclosed to our business partners (processors) or other third parties where required by law.
We use only vetted processors with whom we have concluded a written agreement and who provide us with at least the same guarantees as we provide you. These are exclusively processors based in the European Union or in countries declared and recognized as safe, or in countries with which we have concluded standard contractual clauses pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR and which provide a comparable level of protection for your personal data as in the case of applying the GDPR and Czech legislation. All our processors are bound by confidentiality and may not use the personal data provided for any purposes other than those for which we have made them available in accordance with these policies.

Where can you contact us? Write to us at the email address info@pelek.eu or at the address of our registered office.
When will we process this? We will respond to you within one month at the latest. If providing the information would endanger the privacy of other persons or entail an unreasonable risk or cost in providing it, we may be unable to comply with your request. In the case of repeated requests, the controller is entitled to charge a reasonable fee for a copy of the personal data.
— Right of access. Confirmation as to whether we process your personal data. Information about the purposes of processing, categories of personal data, recipients to whom they are disclosed, duration of processing, and the existence

— Right to data portability. At your request, we can transfer the data you have provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format to another data controller.
— Right to object. When we process your data based on legitimate interest (e.g. sending newsletters). It is our responsibility to demonstrate our legitimate interest; if we agree with you, we will stop this processing.
— Right to withdraw consent. If you have changed your mind, please write to us. Processing for marketing and business purposes may be fully withdrawn at any time.
— Automated individual decision-making, including profiling. You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. We respect your rights, so we do not carry out profiling.
