The DS-48 pulse counter is a universal control cabinet counter with two inputs and two 4-digit LED displays (actual value + target value). It can count, subtract, and process signals from mechanical switches, PNP/NPN inductive sensors, and incremental encoders. With a wide range of input and output functions, it is suitable for industrial automation systems, production lines, measuring stations, and process controls.

Function

• Relay activation upon reaching the target

• Hold until RESET

• Pulse output 0.1-999.9 s

Installation recommendations

• Use shielded and twisted signal cables, ground the shield

• Separate signal cables from power and load cables

• Use a F250 mA / 250 VAC fuse at the power input

• Protect the devices from moisture, vibrations, dust, and extreme temperatures.

• For mechanical switches, it is recommended to set the input frequency to 20 Hz.

• When using two inputs:

• Mode Phs4 → max. ¼ input frequency

• Mode 1u2u, 1u2d, Phs2 → max. ½ input frequency
