Phase control relay FKV-11 | TENSE

The phase control relay FKV-11 is used to protect three-phase devices from the main faults in the power network - especially phase lock (phase reversal), phase failure, and phase asymmetry. The relay ensures reliable operation of electric motors, pumps, compressors, and other three-phase devices.

The model has a fixed asymmetry of 30% and is designed for mounting on a single DIN rail.

Operation of the FKV-11 relay (operating algorithm)

Normal operation

• All three phase voltages are present.

• The phases are connected in the correct order.

• The voltage is within the permissible range.

• Contacts 2-3 are closed, LED OUT → output active.

Asymmetry or voltage deviation

• If the voltage of one phase changes by more than 30 %, or the sum of multidirectional value changes exceeds this limit:

  • the ASM LED (asymmetry indicator) lights up,

  • the contacts switch 2-3 off,

  • the contacts 1-2 switch on,

  • the LED OUT goes off.

Return to normal state

• When the voltage returns to the permissible range,

• the relay switches the output back on and the contacts 2-3 close again.
