Principal Electric Company presents a new product line – modular cam switches controlled by a cam disc, manufactured by Opas (Turkey). Opas began its operations in 1982 in Istanbul. For 40 years, the company has been bringing innovative solutions to the cam switch market and successfully exporting its products to 20 different countries.
Cam switches are designed for:

• Control of mechanisms driven by three-phase and single-phase motors, changing the winding connection of AC motors (Star-Delta), changing the direction of rotation;

• Control and signaling in operational current circuits;

• Switching operating modes of heating devices;

• Switching the drive mechanism of sectional disconnect switches in substations on and off.

Our new range of rotary switches offers a wide selection of circuits for various numbers of poles and different rated currents.
You can select the switch depending on the intended use and technical characteristics of the circuit.
For example, choose the "0-1" scheme for switching the load on and off in a circuit, and "1-2" or "1-0-2" for switching to a parallel connection (alternating load, backup source). For switching between different operating modes of the device (e.g., normal speed, heating temperature), you need the "0-1-2-3" scheme. You can also select a special switch for a voltmeter or ammeter or a "Star/Delta" switch.
